Love to see all the smart tips and lists, especially for those new to Indian cooking. (I’m putting together some intros for my blog and cookbook and it’s helpful for me to be reminded what those new to the cuisine might find as odd and unusual at first.) Your focus on fusion and adventures into non-Indian is also very cool! Thanks and hope to see more soon.

Hi Rashida – look for fresh cream or breakfast cream by Nestle in your local grocer’s dairy aisle. I used to see the flavored variety in India and Dubai but the US only seems to stock the plain variety. Also, check with Middle-eastern grocers such as Holy Land on central avenue. They should have it for sure. Good luck!
