Have you always wanted to learn how to make a real Indian curry? Do you want to bring a little exotic flair to your next gathering with friends? Do you and your friends want to learn how to prepare simple, yet tasty Indian food?
Sabera of OneLifeToEat.com, is now teaching easy Indian cooking at her cooking classes in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Sabera is the creator of http://onelifetoeat.com, and she has built a loyal fan following over the past year. Her hobby has now turned into a passion and she hopes to pass on her knowledge on the Indian cuisine to fellow food enthusiasts.
What she offers:
- Individual and Group teaching sessions including customized and standard menu items
- Group Demonstration Classes for parties or social gatherings
Class format
Classes will cover a range of menu items including Curries, Lentils, Vegetable preparations, Condiments, Appetizers and Indian desserts.
Classes will cover 2 main-course dishes + 1 condiment.
Sessions begin with teaching you the common methods of cooking used in the Indian cuisine. Some time will also be spent, educating you on commonly used spices and their significance in dishes, as well as how best to use and store them. After this class, you will be able to successfully make an Indian meal, and replicate methods taught in other dishes.

Guided tour of Indian grocery store
Guided tours of an Indian grocery store can also be done on special request. At least 2 people needed to organize a visit.
